Shanghai Bar Association Delegation Conducted an Inspection Visit to Singapore
From April 20 to 26, 2025, the Shanghai Bar Association organized a senior lawyer delegation to Singapore for an inspection visit program. This inspection was led by Han Lu, Vice President of the Bar Association, and Jin Bingyi, Director Lawyer of Shanghai Runyi Law Firm and Vice President of the Bar Association, served as the deputy leader.
During the inspection, the delegation visited core legal institutions in Singapore including the Ministry of Law, Law Society, Supreme Court, Attorney-General's Chambers, Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), and Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC).
As an internationally renowned hub for legal services, Singapore has accumulated rich and advanced experience in foreign-related legal services, judicial cooperation, and international commercial dispute resolution. Runyi is well aware of the importance of foreign-related legal services for law firm development and client rights protection. This inspection activity organized by the Shanghai Bar Association provides a valuable learning opportunity for the Shanghai lawyer industry. Through field visits and thematic seminars, the delegation systematically studied Singapore's high-quality experience, which will also provide an important reference for the Shanghai lawyer industry to enhance its capacity and international competitiveness in foreign-related legal services.
Runyi will through this activity actively explore integrating the learned experience into its own business practices, further enhance the firm's level of foreign-related legal services, provide more professional and higher-quality legal services to clients, and help the Shanghai lawyer industry demonstrate stronger competitiveness on the international stage.
