On March 31, 2019, the First Meeting of the 11th Shanghai Lawyers Congress was held at the Shanghai International Conference Center. Chen Yin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, Executive Vice Mayor, and Secretary of the Municipal Political and Legal Affairs Committee, attended and spoke at the meeting. Leaders from the Shanghai High People's Court, Shanghai People's Procuratorate, and the Party Committee of the Shanghai Judicial Bureau attended the meeting. More than 300 lawyer representatives from the city participated in this meeting.

The meeting elected the new leadership of the Shanghai Bar Association. Director Lawyer Jin Bingyi from Shanghai Runyi Law Firm was elected as Supervisor of the Shanghai Bar Association Supervisory Board. The Putuo District Lawyer Work Committee was awarded the "2018 Shanghai Lawyer Industry Contribution Award".

Lawyer Jin Bingyi stated that being honored with this recognition will certainly live up to the mission, playing a model role in the construction of regional rule of law services and helping the regional economy develop better.
