On December 18, 2015, the founding conference of the Changfeng Science and Technology Innovation Alliance was held at the grand meeting hall of Zhongsen Design Company within the Changfeng Ecological Business District. Leaders from the Changfeng Ecological Business District Party Committee, Administrative Committee Office, and Changfeng Investment Company, as well as leaders from relevant functional departments such as the Putuo District Science and Technology Commission and District Federation of Industry and Commerce, and representatives from all member units attended the meeting. Runyi Law Firm, as one of the first member units, also attended the meeting.

The establishment of the Changfeng Science and Technology Innovation Alliance is an important measure for the Changfeng Ecological Business District to actively respond to the municipal party's committee and government's call to "accelerate the construction of Shanghai as a global science and technology innovation center," and to conscientiously implement the strategic deployment of building a "Science and Technology Innovation-Driven Transformation Practice Area and a Livable, Innovative, and Entrepreneurial Ecological Area" as proposed at the Eighth Plenary Session of the Ninth Putuo District Party Committee. The Park Party Committee stated that the Changfeng Science and Technology Innovation Alliance will steadily advance various work, build a platform for communication, exchange, and win-win cooperation, break down barriers between industry, academia, and research, integrate various advantageous resources, fully leverage the alliance's role as a bridge and bond, its role in aggregation and integration, and its role in functional radiation, accelerate the construction of the western Shanghai science and technology innovation highland, help Changfeng become a leader and vanguard in enhancing regional science and technology innovation capabilities, and make due contributions to the construction of Shanghai's Science and Technology Innovation Center.
