In August 2017, the Legal Advisory Committee of the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology held a lawyer team certification ceremony at the Science Hall. Forty-one Shanghai lawyers from various professional fields, including Chief Lawyer Jin Bingyi from Runyi Law Firm, were appointed.

The person in charge of the Human Resources Department first conveyed the full affirmation and gratitude of Yang Jianrong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, for the services provided and contributions made by the Legal Advisory Committee since its establishment on July 28, 2014, hoping that the lawyer team could assist the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology in expanding the connotation of "Home of Science and Technology Workers" and better serve the majority of science and technology workers.
