In August 2017, the Shanghai Science and Technology Association Legal Advisory Committee held a lawyer team certification ceremony at the Science Hall. Forty-one Shanghai lawyers from various professional fields, including Managing Attorney Jin Bingyi of Runyi Law Firm, were appointed.

At the certification ceremony, Yu Weifeng, President of the Shanghai Lawyers Association and Vice Director of the Legal Advisory Committee, and the person in charge of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Shanghai Science and Technology Association presented certificates to the lawyer team members. The person in charge of the Organization and Personnel Department first conveyed that Yang Jianrong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shanghai Science and Technology Association, expressed full recognition and gratitude for the services provided and contributions made by the Legal Advisory Committee since its establishment on July 28, 2014. It is hoped that the lawyer team can assist the Shanghai Science and Technology Association in expanding the connotation of the "Home of Science and Technology Workers" and better serve the vast number of science and technology workers.
