How much do you know?
Let's take a look together
"Stamp Drugs" - Be Wary, One Touch and You're Hooked?
"Stamp drugs" contain LSD (also known as lysergic acid diethylamide, a potent semi-synthetic hallucinogen). Pure LSD is a colorless, odorless solid with a slightly bitter taste. This new type of drug is often adsorbed onto absorbent paper with special patterns printed on it, hence commonly called "stamps."
"Lysergic acid diethylamide" is classified as a Category I psychotropic drug under the Catalog of Psychotropic Drug Varieties, and China has ceased production and use of such drugs. Therefore, LSD hallucinogen is legally considered a narcotic drug.
LSD is typically taken orally. While the claim that "one touch on skin causes addiction" may be exaggerated, its toxicity should not be underestimated. Its toxicity is three times that of common ecstasy. It is the world's most potent hallucinogen, with a typical dose of just tens of micrograms - equivalent to one-tenth the weight of a grain of sand - sufficient to induce hallucinations, and its effects can last 6-8 hours. After use, users typically experience intense changes in sensation, perception, memory, and self-awareness, with powerful hallucinations causing significant psychological落差.
Du, a member of the Fulu Shou (Blessing, Fortune, Longevity) band, had participated in "The Summer of Bands" and gained popularity with the song "Yu Zhen." However, due to suspected drug-related crimes, on January 4, 2021, he was charged by the Fourth Branch of the Beijing People's Procuratorate with the crime of drug smuggling. In December of the same year, the Beijing Fourth Intermediate People's Court sentenced Du to one year of imprisonment and a fine of 10,000 RMB for the crime of drug smuggling.
According to the judgment: On January 4, 2021, defendant Du contacted an overseas seller via WeChat and purchased a total of 9 sheets of stamp-shaped "LSD" from the United States, which were smuggled into the country by mail. On January 26 of the same year, the package was inspected at Tianjin Customs and found to contain concealed suspected drugs, and was subsequently transferred to the Beijing Customs Anti-Smuggling Bureau for handling. On January 29, the Beijing Customs Anti-Smuggling Bureau arrested the actual recipient Du at the delivery address on Liujiawa East Road, Fengtai District, Beijing. The "LSD" recovered from the package weighed 0.13 grams net and was tested positive for lysergic acid diethylamide. All seized drugs have been recovered by the police.
It is worth noting that as a public figure, involvement in drug crimes has brought extremely negative social impact.
Not touching or using drugs is not just a moral high ground for public figures, but the moral and legal bottom line that every citizen must uphold. Drug involvement is a red line that no one may cross!
"Uplift Vapes" - Even One Gram is a Crime!
Due to their convenience for transportation and use, e-cigarette liquids have become the primary carrier for synthetic cannabinoids. Drug users and traffickers call them "uplift vapes" or "upper vapes," claiming that vaping them is "safe high" and "legal high," inducing or even deceiving those with weak drug prevention awareness into using them.
The synthetic cannabinoids in uplift vapes are artificially synthesized chemical substances. Inhaling synthetic cannabinoids can produce a much stronger sense of euphoria than natural marijuana, making them the most prevalent and abused family among new psychoactive substances. Long-term use can lead to cardiovascular diseases and mental disorders, while also posing cancer risks.
On July 12, 2021, Du reached an agreement with buyer Chen from Sanya City, Hainan Province on the WeChat platform for the sale of three "uplift vapes." Chen paid Du 2,400 RMB in a single payment via Alipay. Du then placed the order with SF Express under the fake name "Chen Beibei."
Yuan, knowing it was drugs, delivered the three "uplift vapes" to the courier as instructed by Du, to be mailed to Sanya City, Hainan Province. After the "uplift vapes" arrived at the SF Express pickup point at Lane 5, XX Road, Jiyang District, Sanya City, Hainan Province, they were seized by police. Upon examination by the Ministry of Public Security's Center for Forensic Science Identification, the three vapes mailed and sold by Du to Chen were found to contain synthetic cannabinoids (ADB-BUTINACA), weighing 0.92 grams.
Du was convicted of drug trafficking and sentenced by the court to three months of criminal detention.
According to the Announcement jointly issued by the Ministry of Public Security, the National Health Commission, and the National Medical Products Administration on Adding Synthetic Cannabinoids and 18 Other Substances Including Fluoroketamine to the Supplementary Catalog of Controlled Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Drugs for Non-Medical Purposes, from July 1, 2021, all types of synthetic cannabinoids are legally considered narcotic drugs. Anyone selling products containing synthetic cannabinoids or other psychoactive substances after this date may be charged with the crime of drug trafficking.
New types of drugs like uplift vapes are more deceptive and addictive than traditional drugs, and pose greater harm to the human body, particularly easily corrupting young people. Do not accept cigarettes from unknown sources, and be especially vigilant about cigarettes with unusual packaging. Do not give drug dealers or drugs any opportunity to harm you.
"Fairy Water" and "Docile Water" - Not a Single Drop!
This "fairy water" is not the same as the other kind - this "fairy water" is a central nervous system depressant, with the chemical name "gamma-hydroxybutyrate" (GHB), classified as a Category I psychotropic drug under China's control. Taking "gamma-hydroxybutyrate" can cause temporary memory loss, nausea, vomiting, and other symptoms. It is often used by criminals as an anesthetic or date rape drug, which has made it a notoriously infamous date rape drug.
At the end of August 2021, the Fengcheng City Public Security Bureau organized city-wide sewage testing. The test report showed severe excess levels of "gamma-hydroxybutyrate" in a certain area. Elevated gamma-hydroxybutyrate levels indicate that someone in that area is suspected of abusing drugs containing "gamma-hydroxybutyrate."
According to investigators from the Drug Control Brigade of Fengcheng City Public Security Bureau. Combined with previous routine inspections and the sewage test results, the Drug Control Brigade determined that "gamma-hydroxybutyrate" was present in entertainment venues in Fengcheng.
On September 14, 2021, Fengcheng City Public Security Bureau organized forces to conduct a comprehensive sweep of entertainment venues, bringing back over 60 people for investigation. Through various testing methods, many were found to have elevated levels of "gamma-hydroxybutyrate" in their hair, confirming drug use behavior.
Tu and others gradually came to light, having long hung around entertainment venues, profiting from drug trafficking. After obtaining "gamma-hydroxybutyrate," they mixed it into milk tea and iced tea to make "drug-spiked drinks."
Fengcheng City Public Security Bureau filed this case as a ministry-supervised case. As of December 26, 2021, public security departments in various provinces and cities had successively arrested over 50 criminal suspects in Jiangxi, Guangdong, Chongqing, Anhui, and other places. Among them, Fengcheng City Public Security Bureau arrested 20 criminal suspects, all of whom have been transferred for prosecution. (Source: China Anti-Drug Network)
For your own safety, when in complex environments, never let your drink out of your sight, and never eat any food, drink, or pills given to you by anyone. If you discover suspected drugs or individuals involved in drugs, while ensuring your own safety, promptly report to the public security authorities.
Illegal Poppy Cultivation - Even One Plant is Illegal!
Poppy is the main raw material for producing opium and the primary source plant for extracting heroin. It cannot be planted at will. In daily life, many people believe that planting a relatively small number, or using it for feeding or self-treatment, does not violate the law. However, it should be reminded that "ignorance of the law is no excuse." According to the Anti-Drug Law of the People's Republic of China, the state exercises strict control over the cultivation of narcotic raw materials and prohibits illegal poppy cultivation.
Planting Poppies for Illness Treatment?

Upon investigation, Zhu *E's actions were considered relatively minor in circumstances. She was given an administrative penalty of a 200 RMB fine, and the two poppy plants were confiscated.
Planting Poppies for Raising Chickens?
A resident in Shanghai's Pudong New District planted poppies on their farmland. At this time, the poppy flowers had not yet bloomed or produced fruit. After counting, there were as many as 529 plants in total. Gu stated that the purpose of planting poppies was also because he had previously raised nearly 50 chickens. If the poppies were fed to the chicks, they would not get diarrhea or get sick, and would be more energetic, which was beneficial for raising them. Currently, Gu has been prosecuted for suspected illegal cultivation of drug-producing plants.
According to the provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Penalties for Administration of Public Security, for illegal poppy cultivation of less than 500 plants, a fine of no more than 3,000 RMB may be imposed concurrently; for relatively minor circumstances, detention of no more than 5 days or a fine of no more than 500 RMB may be imposed; if voluntarily eradicated before maturity, no punishment shall be imposed. More seriously, according to the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, if one cultivates 500 or more poppies but less than 3,000, or cultivates other drug-producing plants in relatively large quantities, cultivates after being handled by public security authorities, or resists eradication, they shall be sentenced to controlled custody, criminal detention, or even fixed-term imprisonment.
It is important to note that lacking drug prevention knowledge, awareness, and anti-drug skills exposes one to the threat of drugs, creating the possibility of being harmed by them. The pleasure drugs bring may last only a moment, but the consequences must be borne for a lifetime.
