On November 1, 2024, the third session of the "Xuhui Key Enterprise Labor and Employment Salon" was held at the West Bund Digital Valley Party and Mass Service Center. With the theme "Legal Practice in Labor and Personnel Matters," the event specially invited Mr. Wang Siqi, Deputy Director of the Corporate Legal Advisory Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association and a Partner of our firm, as the keynote speaker. The event attracted nearly 50 heads of human resources and legal departments from key enterprises located in parks and buildings such as West Bund Smart Tower and Model Space, who registered to participate.

During this event, Attorney Wang Siqi delivered a special presentation titled "Legal Practice Related to Labor and Personnel Matters" to the attending corporate representatives. In particular, he conducted practical case analyses on hot-button issues of concern to enterprises, such as termination during the probation period, termination of labor relations, and risks associated with corporate overtime practices. He provided enterprise representatives with strategies for preventing and responding to labor and employment legal risks, guiding enterprises toward lawful employment practices. Attorney Wang Siqi's presentation received widespread recognition from the attending corporate representatives and played a positive role in promoting the establishment of harmonious labor relations and safeguarding the healthy development of employment relationships.

Following the special presentation, representatives from various enterprises were also organized to tour the "West Bund Digital Valley Party and Mass Service Center." As a "base, supply point, and practice ground for Party building in emerging fields," the building housing the Center gathers numerous leading enterprises, enterprises above designated size, high-tech enterprises, and specialized and new "little giant" enterprises in Xuhui.

In recent years, as economic transformation and upgrading, along with industrial restructuring, have gradually intensified, and new industries and new business forms have continuously emerged, the Xuhui District has focused on new situations and new issues in the field of labor relations. It has persistently held the "Harmonious Labor and Employment Theme Salon," cumulatively conducting 20 special training and guidance sessions. Through the organization of these relevant special training and guidance sessions, our firm will continue to deepen the tripartite coordination mechanism for labor relations, adhere to the principle of harmonious guidance, and persistently contribute to creating a more friendly employment environment, a more vibrant talent environment, and more harmonious labor relations.
