Shanghai Runyi Law Firm and East China University of Political Science and Law Sign a Framework Cooperation Agreement and Donation Agreement

On the morning of September 28, 2022, the signing ceremony of the Framework Cooperation Agreement and Donation Agreement between Shanghai Runyi Law Firm and East China University of Political Science and Law was held at the Changning Campus of East China University of Political Science and Law. Deputy Director Ge Liang of the Putuo District Bureau of Justice, Attorney Jin Bingyi, Director of Shanghai Runyi Law Firm, Yu Xun, Director of the Social Coordination Office of East China University of Political Science and Law, and Wu Qiaofang, Dean of the School of International Education, attended the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Dean Wu Qiaofang extended a warm welcome to Attorney Jin Bingyi and his delegation, expressing gratitude to Runyi Law Firm for actively giving back to society and supporting the university's development. She expressed the hope that the School of International Education would establish in-depth cooperation with Runyi Law Firm, collaborating innovatively in areas such as education and teaching to achieve mutual benefits and fruitful results.

Attorney Jin Bingyi, Director of Runyi Law Firm, introduced the firm's recent developments and its progress and strategic layout in the field of foreign-related commercial legal services. He noted that many members of the Runyi team are alumni of East China University of Political Science and Law, with deep affection for the university, and expressed anticipation for achieving new developments together by leveraging each other's strengths.

During the ceremony, Attorney Jin Bingyi and Dean Wu Qiaofang signed the Framework Cooperation Agreement, and he signed the Donation Agreement with Director Yu Xun. Together, they unveiled the plaque for the "Teaching Practice Base" of the School of International Education at East China University of Political Science and Law.

Deputy Director Ge Liang of the Bureau of Justice emphasized in his speech that it is highly necessary for the School of International Education to initiate cooperation with a law firm, creating a new platform for cultivating foreign-related legal talent. Law is a highly practical discipline, and international students have practical needs, which also serve as an important channel and window for disseminating China's socialist legal system and rule-of-law concepts. Runyi Law Firm is a distinctive firm specializing in foreign-related matters, and he expressed hope that both parties would share resources, deepen cooperation and exchanges, and promote the integration of industry, academia, and research.
