On May 14, 2016, Director Jin Bingyi of our firm attended the Second Meeting of the Tenth Shanghai Lawyers' Congress, which commenced at Qingsongcheng. Nearly 300 representatives from the city participated in the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Zheng Shanhe, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Justice; Comrade Wang Xie, Deputy Director of the Municipal Bureau of Justice and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Municipal Bar Association; as well as relevant leaders from the district and county bureaus of justice.

The morning session was presided over by Vice President Zhou Tianping of the Municipal Bar Association. Comrade Zheng Shanhe, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Justice, pointed out at the congress that this is the inaugural year of the Tenth Bar Association, bearing significant responsibilities and a glorious mission, and that substantial work has been accomplished for the development of the city's legal profession. Supervisor-in-Chief Qian Yiliang presented the 2015 Annual Work Report of the Tenth Board of Supervisors; Vice President Guan Jianjun provided an explanation of the draft amendments to the Articles of Association of the Shanghai Bar Association, among other matters.

In the afternoon, the lawyer representatives conducted group deliberations, which were divided into eleven breakout sessions. Director Jin Bingyi of our firm engaged in lively discussions with fellow lawyer representatives, summarizing the work of the past year and exchanging experiences in legal services. Following this meeting, Director Jin Bingyi stated that our firm will further maintain a favorable development trajectory, place greater emphasis on close cooperation with government entities, and ensure more standardized self-regulation.
