In August 2017, the Legal Advisory Committee of the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology held a certificate presentation ceremony for the lawyer group at the Science Hall. A total of 41 Shanghai lawyers from various professional fields, including Attorney Jin Bingyi, the Managing Partner of Runyi Law Firm, were appointed.

At the certificate presentation ceremony, Yu Weifeng, President of the Shanghai Bar Association and Deputy Director of the Legal Advisory Committee, along with the head of the Organization and Personnel Department of the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, issued letters of appointment to the members of the lawyer group. The head of the Organization and Personnel Department first conveyed the full affirmation and gratitude of Yang Jianrong, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, for the services and contributions provided by the Legal Advisory Committee since its establishment on July 28, 2014. It was expressed that the lawyer group is expected to assist the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology in expanding the connotation of the "Home for Scientific and Technological Workers" and better serve the vast community of scientific and technological workers.

Shanghai Runyi Law Firm has been providing long-term services to the science and technology association's endeavors.
