On November 12 and 13, 2009, Umicore organized a Code of Conduct Seminar at the Hongqiao State Guest Hotel in Shanghai. Attorney Jin Bingyi was invited to participate as one of the keynote speakers at the said seminar.

The Code of Conduct seminar organized by Umicore on this occasion discussed various aspects of the Code of Conduct. Attorney Jin Bingyi, under the title "A Review of the Code of Conduct from a Legal Perspective," provided a specific and vivid explanation and illustration of the legal background, legal nature, and legal effect of the Code of Conduct, as well as specific issues such as commercial bribery, conflicts of interest, and price fixing. During the lecture, Attorney Jin Bingyi, based on theoretical analysis and supplemented by apt and vivid examples and actual cases, analyzed the legal framework of the Code of Conduct in a clear and accessible manner, which was welcomed and appreciated by the attendees.
